On February 27, in New Delhi the Ukrainian delegation was received by Mr. Venkaiah Naidu, Minister of Information and Broadcasting, and Ms. Jayashree Mukherjee, Additional Secretary of the Ministry, Mr. Narendra Kumar Sinha, Secretary, Ministry of Culture, as well as Mr. Rajeev Singh, Chief executive officer, Prasar Bharati, Mr. F. Sheheryar, Director General, «All India Radio», and  Mrs. Supriya Sahu,  Director General, Doordarshan.

Within the above negotiations the main attention was focused on establishment of bilateral cooperation, in particular improvement of bilateral legislative base in the field of cinematography and  establishing direct contacts between representatives of our countries in it, joint movie production as well as promoting of Ukrainian culture in India and Indian – in Ukraine.

Prospects of bilateral cooperation were also discussed during the meeting of Ukrainian delegation with Mr. Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, Government of Telengana as well as moviemaking industry representatives of above mentioned state, held  in Hyderabad on February 28, 2017.
