On October 13, 2017, H.E. Dr. I.Polikha, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of India, held a meeting with the leadership of the State-Owned Indian company “Steel Authority of India Ltd.” where the issues of intensification of bilateral cooperation in the field of metallurgy were discussed as well as the launch of joint projects and establishing new direct contacts between industry enterprises. In its turn, the Indian side expressed an increased interest in products of a number of profile plants in Ukraine, and also expressed interest in creation of joint ventures.

Te Sides agreed on substantive discussion of this topic during the next 6th meeting of the Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Indian Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical, Industrial and Cultural Cooperation.
