The official delegation of Ukraine led by First Deputy to the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleg Hladkovskiy and the Director General of the SC "UkrOboronProm" Pavlo Bukin on April 11-14 this year participated in the prestigious international exhibition "Defexpo India 2018", held in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, India.

During the event, working meetings were held with the Minister of Defense of the Republic of India (RI) Nirmala Sitharaman, the First and Deputies Defense Ministers of India, as well as with the commanders of all three types of RI forces, heads of a leading state companies of the Indian Ministry of Defense. Also, negotiations were held with ten foreign private companies.

Following the results of these meetings, the Ukrainian side signed 2 contracts and a series of memoranda of understanding.
