The Ukrainian high-level delegation headed by Mr. O.Gladkovsky, First Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Colonel-General S.Drozdov, Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Mr. I.Polikha, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of India, took part at the International Aviation Exhibition "Aero India 2019" which was held on February 20-24, 2019 in Bangalore, Karnataka. The Ukrainian delegation was also including the heads of the State Space Agency of Ukraine, the State Concern "Ukroboronprom", the State Enterprise "Antonov", the State Foreign Trade Enterprise "Spetstechnoexport" and other state and private enterprises of the defense industry of Ukraine.

The heads of the Ukrainian delegation held meetings with Mr. S. Bhamre, State Minister of Defense of the Republic of India, and Commanders of the Air Force, Navy and Army of the Republic of India. Mr. P. Degtiarenko, Head of the State Space Agency of Ukraine, held a meeting with Mr. K.Sivan, Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation, where the specific projects on bilateral cooperation were discussed by the parties. In addition, the members of the Ukrainian delegation held negotiations with the leading state and private Indian companies.

Within the framework of the event two demonstration flights of the AN-132 aircraft were performed for foreign partners.
