On September 25, 2019, Vadym Prystaiko, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine met with Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs of India.
The parties discussed topic issues on the agenda of Ukrainian-Indian relations, particularly, intensification of political dialogue and development of bilateral cooperation in economic and educational spheres, as well as visa regime liberalization.
Special attention was paid to the functioning of the Ukrainian-Indian Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical, Industrial and Cultural Cooperation.
The parties exchanged their views on topic issues of international security, particularly, in the area of nuclear energy use.
During the meeting, the Ministers also discussed the possibility of conducting of bilateral visits and enhancing cooperation in the areas of mutual interest.
