On August 14, the Ambassador (designate) of Ukraine in the Republic of India H.E. Dr. Oleksandr Polishchuk held a meeting with Secretary (West), Ministry of External Affairs, Government India, H.E. Shri Sanjay Verma.

Dr. Polishchuk briefed Mr. Verma about the security situation in Ukraine and countering Russian military aggression.

The parties also discussed directions for the development of bilateral relations in the short and long term.

Mr. Verma congratulated Dr. Polishchuk on the start of his tenure in India.
