On October 18, Ambassador of Ukraine to India Dr. Oleksandr Polishchuk had an honour to inaugurate the Kafila Lit Fest at Sparsh Global School, Noida.
The Festival featured a variety of cultural activities and performances. Ambassador was impressed by the state-of-the-art facilities and the remarkable intellect of the young students.
Ambassador was deeply touched by the organizers’ thoughtful inclusion of a prayer for peace in Ukraine, a gesture that resonates with the shared hope for harmony and peaceful future.
Ambassador highlighted the strengthening ties between Ukraine and India, specifically in the field of culture, and emphasised the need of deepening people-to-people contacts.
In this regard, Dr. Polishchuk mentioned the new opportunities for exchanges between Ukraine and India, which are now available under the Programme of Cultural Cooperation for the years of 2024-2028, concluded during the visit of Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi to Ukraine in August this year.
Let us work together to ensure that through culture, we continue to build bridges of understanding between our two great nations.
