"Ukraine has received four proposals on a ceasefire from India, Türkiye, Egypt and the United States and is ready for different options for a truce with Russia.
Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said this in comments to journalists in Kyiv, a correspondent of European Pravda reports.
Sybiha stressed that Ukraine is ready for different formats of a truce, but only if the ceasefire covers both the energy sector and the Black Sea.
“We have four proposals. The most comprehensive one is India’s proposal. We are ready for an energy and Black Sea truce, but only in such a combination. Energy and a truce in the Black Sea. This means a complete energy truce, a halt to strikes on all energy facilities, including port infrastructure,” the minister said.
According to him, Türkiye and Egypt have also put forward similar proposals. The countries proposed a truce in the Black Sea aimed at restoring grain exports.
The fourth proposal was put forward by the United States. Washington insists that Ukraine and Russia agree on an energy truce.
Sybiha said that Kyiv is ready for different options for a ceasefire, including along the front line.
“And there is also a fourth proposal, from the United States, an energy truce. It was discussed during the meeting between Presidents Zelenskyy and Trump. In general, we believe that a truce could be one of the outcomes of a meeting between President Zelenskyy and Putin. We are ready for different formats of a truce, including an unconditional ceasefire along the line of contact,” the diplomat said.
According to media reports, Türkiye and the United Nations are organising new talks between Russia and Ukraine on a truce in the Black Sea, seeking to bring together fragmented efforts aimed at protecting grain supplies amid a sharp rise in global food prices.
As European Pravda previously reported, US President Donald Trump said that he had asked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to slow the pace of strikes on Russian oil refineries, and that Zelenskyy had allegedly agreed.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy earlier said that during closed-door talks with US President Donald Trump there had been no attempts to force Kyiv to unilaterally stop attacks on oil refineries and other facilities of this kind.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that achieving an energy truce between Russia and Ukraine is a difficult task, but Washington will try to do so."
