On the occasion of Constitution Day of Ukraine, observed on June 28, we are honored to contribute to a landmark initiative in India — The Constitution Academy and The Rights & Freedoms Museum at O.P. Jindal Global University.
This unparalleled institution, the first of its kind in India, was inaugurated and dedicated to the nation on 26 November 2024, marking the 75th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of India.
Acting on behalf of the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of India, Deputy Chief of Mission, Minister-Counsellor Mr. Artem Nosko and Second Secretary Mr. Volodymyr Prytula officially handed over Ukraine’s contribution to Prof. Dabiru Sridhar Patnaik, Registrar of O.P. Jindal Global University, which includes:
In return, the Embassy of Ukraine was honored to receive a special commemorative edition of the Constitution of India — a symbolic gesture underscoring the deep respect and shared commitment to constitutional democracy between our two nations.
Ukraine is proud to be among the first countries to support this visionary project. We hope our contribution will encourage the development of a global collection of constitutions within the museum, offering students and visitors a platform to engage with the world’s diverse legal and democratic traditions.
