On June 21, Deputy Chief of Mission, Minister-Counsellor of the Embassy of Ukraine in India Mr. Artem Nosko had the honour to participate in the graduation ceremony a t The Dale View College of Pharmacy & Research Centre in Poovachal, near Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.

In his address, Mr. Nosko offered heartfelt congratulations to the graduating class and faculty, commending their dedication and hard work in shaping the future of healthcare. He underscored the importance of global cooperation in medical education, noting the strong and longstanding ties between India and Ukraine in this field. For decades, thousands of Indian students have pursued medical studies in Ukraine, building lasting academic and personal connections. 

Several pharmaceutical Indian companies are currently operating in Ukraine and produce medicines to address health demands of both nations.

Mr. Nosko encouraged the graduates to carry forward a spirit of compassion, excellence, and responsibility - values deeply rooted in both Ukrainian and Indian traditions of public service. 

He reaffirmed Ukraine’s commitment to expanding educational partnerships and fostering greater collaboration in healthcare and science.

Mr. Nosko also brought attention of the audience to the challenges, which Ukraine is facing in light of the Russian aggression, particularly in the sphere of healthcare.

He visited the museum dedicated to life and legacy of late Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, the only President of the Republic of India, who visited Ukraine in 2005, and paid tribute to this great Indian statesman.
