On 17 June 2026, in France, on the sidelines of the G7 Summit, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with Prime Minister of the Republic of India Narendra Modi.
The leaders discussed the development of bilateral relations across various sectors, including industrial and other joint projects that Ukraine and India could implement together. Particular attention was paid to the work of joint ventures and the results already achieved.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Narendra Modi exchanged views on the potential of such a mutually beneficial partnership and agreed that it is important to continue developing it.
The Prime Minister of India emphasized that he is ready to promptly consider all of Ukraine’s proposals. The leaders agreed that their teams would remain in contact.
