With support of the Embassy of Ukraine in India, the East European Development Institute, within its project “Ukraine and South Asia – Open Dialogues”, supported by the International Renaissance Foundation in Ukraine, in collaboration with PT GLOBAL EDU launched the first Ukraine-India Students’ Writing Contest 2024: TO UKRAINE WITH LOVE / Z LYUBOVYU DO UKRAYINY.

The Contest is the first of its kind, open for grade 6 to 12 students to explore and learn about Ukraine’s rich history, culture and traditions, thus addressing the critical need of raising awareness among Indian school students about Ukraine.

There will be two age groups: Junior Group (grade 6 to 8) and Senior Group (grade 9 to 12). 

Registration is open till July 31, 2024.

Highlights of the Contest:

• Winners will be greeted for the Gala Award Ceremony at the Embassy of Ukraine in New Delhi and it will make them get acquainted more with Ukraine, participate in art and handicrafts workshop as well as view short movies.
• Winners will be honoured with Ukrainian Souvenirs, Medals and Certificates of Excellence.
• 14 Principals/Directors of participating schools will be invited for interaction and felicitation ceremony with the Ambassador and diplomats at the Embassy of Ukraine in New Delhi.
• 12 Principals/Directors of participating schools who encourage the maximum number of students to participate will be invited for interaction and felicitation ceremony with the Ambassador and diplomats at the Embassy of Ukraine in New Delhi.
• Certificates of Appreciation will be awarded to all event coordinators and principals of participating schools.
• Certificates of Participation for all contestants.
