On April 30, 2025, at the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of India, H.E. Ambassador Dr. Oleksandr Polishchuk and the Embassy team were pleased to welcome the esteemed representatives of the India - Ukraine Friendship Association.

After a long pause, this meeting marked the renewal of engagement with the Association. 

A wide range of issues was discussed, particularly in the context of implementing the provisions of the India-Ukraine Joint Statement on the Visit of Prime Minister of India to Ukraine on August 23, 2024.

The discussion covered cooperation in the field of education, business and investment projects, strengthening people-to-people ties.

Participants also discussed opportunities for deepening engagement with the Ukrainian counterpart - the Ukraine - India Friendship Group.

We are deeply grateful to all participants for their insights and ideas, and we extend special thanks to Mr. S S Chaman,  President of the Association and Mr. Jasbir Nischal, Secretary General of the Association for their initiative and organisational support.
