On 31 July 2026, six students successfully completed the Summer Internship Programme at the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of India.

The cohort included five students from O.P. Jindal Global University: Ananya Goyal, Aryaman Jolly, Shruti Bisht, Swareena Singh, and Saurav Narayan Parija, as well as Ishita Pal from the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE).

Running from 1 June to 31 July 2026, the programme provided the interns with practical insight into the daily functioning of a diplomatic mission.

Throughout the internship, the students familiarized themselves with the Embassy’s core areas of work and contributed to activities in public diplomacy, communications, cultural and educational cooperation, economic relations, humanitarian initiatives, and engagement with India and other countries of South Asia.

They also supported outreach activities and the preparation of cultural and educational projects aimed at strengthening people-to-people contacts between Ukraine and India.

As part of the academic component, each intern prepared an individual research paper on a specific area of the Embassy’s work, including bilateral relations, economic cooperation, media discourse, humanitarian, cultural and educational cooperation, joint international initiatives, and cooperation within international organizations.

At the concluding ceremony, the interns received certificates marking the successful completion of the programme. They were also presented with pins of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine as a symbol of their contribution and continued support for Ukraine and its interests.
