On 19 December 2025, a new group of students from O.P. Jindal Global University commenced their Winter Internship Programme at the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of India, which will run until 31 January 2026.

The Embassy warmly welcomed the interns — Subhashini Kant, Venkatesh Tiwari, Simran Kaur, and Mahesh Kumar Naidu — and expressed its appreciation for their interest in gaining practical experience within a diplomatic mission and in learning more about Ukraine–India relations.

During the opening meeting, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of India, Dr Oleksandr Polishchuk, welcomed the students and wished them a productive and enriching internship experience. He expressed the Embassy’s interest in hearing the interns’ ideas and perspectives on further deepening Ukraine–India relations, and emphasized the importance of their participation in strengthening people-to-people ties between the two countries. 

To mark the beginning of the Internship Programme, the students were presented with official lapel pins of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

During the internship, the students will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the work of the Embassy, contribute to its analytical, cultural, and public diplomacy activities, and gain first-hand insight into diplomatic practice.

This Winter Internship Programme is part of the ongoing and increasingly systematic cooperation between the Embassy of Ukraine and O.P. Jindal Global University, aimed at strengthening academic exchange, people-to-people contacts, and sustained institutional engagement.
