Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba gave interview to the Indian TV Channel “Times Now” on October 31, 2023.
In conversation with the anchor of the program “Nation Wants To Know” Navika Kumar, Ukrainian Foreign Minister delivered a number of important messages:
- Ukraine is making a good progress in implementation of Ukraine’s Peace Formula. It is the basis for any peace settlement as it respects the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine.
- Representatives of 66 countries participated in the peace talks on Ukraine’s Peace Formula in Malta (October 28-29, 2023). The number of participants is growing, the first round of these consultations in Denmark (June, 2023) witnessed participation of 15 countries, while the second round in Saudi Arabia (August, 2023) attracted 42 countries. India participated in all three rounds and we highly appreciate that.
- Ukrainians are utmost grateful to India for the provided humanitarian aid.
- We also express a separate gratitude to the people of India who supported Ukraine from the very first day of Russian unprovoked full scale military aggression.
- We are looking forward to a deeper engagement with the Government of India and joint projects.
- Ukraine was capable to deprive the Russian Black Sea Fleet of the capacity to hinder export of Ukrainian grain to global markets. Ukraine is a guarantor of global food security and we continue exports by different ways – by sea and land, including under the Grain From Ukraine Initiative.
- Crimea is Ukraine and we will liberate all the occupied territories.
- Ukraine is not de-prioritised due to the war in the Middle East, because what happens in Ukraine and in the Middle East are two theaters of the same struggle unfolding in the world. Ukraine wishes peace and two states solution for Israel and Palestine.
