On April 6, a day of mourning has been declared in Ukraine for those killed by the Russian direct missile strike on Kryvyi Rih.

On April 4, 2025, the Russian Federation conducted a shelling that shocked Ukraine and the world with its particular cruelty, as the Russian Iskander-M ballistic missile targeted a residential neighborhood in Kryvyi Rih, killing 18 people, including 9 children. 75 people, including 12 children, sustained injuries of varying severity.

The State Flag of Ukraine has been flown at half-mast at the Embassy of Ukraine in New Delhi.
