On November 21, 2024, the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of India, in collaboration with the Polish Institute New Delhi, conducted a special event to commemorate 1000 days of Ukraine’s unbreakable spirit, unity, and courage in the face of ongoing Russian aggression.
The event took place at the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of South Asia in New Delhi.
This evening celebrated not only Ukraine’s resilience but also the unwavering support of friends and partners who stood with us in our darkest times. Together, we echo Gandhiji’s belief that: “In the midst of darkness, light persists.”

This day also holds profound significance for Ukraine: November 21 marks the Day of Freedom and Dignity, a moment of reflection on Ukraine’s people’s unwavering pursuit of democracy, independence, and justice.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us and spent the evening standing with Ukraine. Your presence and solidarity mean the world to us.
Our heartfelt gratitude to the Polish Institute New Delhi, the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of South Asia, and all those who made this event possible.
