On 28-30 March 2016 Ukrainian official delegation headed by Mr. Oleg Hladkovskiy, the First Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, took part at the “Defexpo India 2016” international exhibition (State of Goa, India).

Mr. Hladkovskiy held meetings with Mr. Manohar Parrikar, Minister of Defence of India; Mr. Rao Inderjit Singh, Minister of State for Defence; Mr. Mohan Kumar, Defence Secretary; Mr. Rabinder Dhowan, Chief of Naval Staff of the Indian Navy; Mr. JRK Rao, Acting Director General (Acquisition), Ministry of Defence; Mr. Rakesh Bhadauriya, Deputy Chief of Air Staff; Mr. Selvin Christopher, Director General of the Defence Research and Development Organization; Mr. Subrata Saha, Deputy Chief of Indian Army Staff, and executives of leading Indian companies The sides discussed intensification of Ukraine-India cooperation in military-technical sphere and implementation of the joint projects under the "Make in India" India government's program.

Mr. Hladkovskiy also inaugurated the "Ukrainian Defense Industry: Main Achievements and Prospects" exhibition.

Ukraine was widely represented at the “Defexpo India 2016”, among the Ukrainian participants there were well known "Antonov", "Artem", "Arsenal", "Zorya-Mashproekt" companies, Kharkiv Machine Building Design Bureau named O.Morozov, "Luch" Kyiv State Design Bureau and others.
