On May 13, 2016 in Hyderabad, Telangana the world's largest aircraft An-225 “Mriya” landed in India for the first time in its history. On this occasion it was arranged the press conference with participation of Dr. Igor Polikha, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine,  and Mr. Serhiy Semovonik, Vice President of the "Antonov" State Enterprise. The Aircraft was visited by local journalists, representatives of the Indian authorities, as well as the Ministry of Civil Aviation and the Air Force of India.

In the framework of this event, "Antonov" and "Reliance Defense" held negotiations on some aspects of joint participation in tender for creating and manufacturing of the medium passenger aircraft.
