On 19 May Igor Polikha, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of India, met with Ms. Sujata Mehta, Secretary (West) of the Ministry of External Affairs of India. During the meeting the sides agreed on renewal (after a long pause) of Ukrainian-Indian contacts on high and the highest levels, including a future visit of  the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to India, as well as arranging next round of Ukrainian-Indian consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of both countries. The issue of bilateral cooperation between two countries within international organizations was also raised during a meeting. Special attention was paid to commencing new large-scale economic bilateral projects.
