On November 30, 2016 Dr. Igor Polikha, Ambassador of Ukraine to Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal (concurrently), presented Letters of Credence to H.E. Mrs. Bidhya Devi Bhandari, President of Nepal.  During the meeting the Parties agreed on necessity of considerable activation of Ukrainian-Nepalese cooperation in a range of areas of bilateral interest.

         On December 1, Ambassador of Ukraine met Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Bal Krishna Khand, Minister of Defence. During the meetings the issues of launching more active Ukraine-Nepal dialogue, trade and economy cooperation, as well as bilateral contacts between Defence Ministries were discussed.
