On November 26-28, 2018, Igor Polikha, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of India paid a working visit to the Kingdom of Bhutan (KB). Within the framework of the visit, Igor Polikha met with Dr. T. Dorji, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Bhutan and Amb. S. Tshong, Foreign Secretary of Bhutan. The sides discussed the issues of establishment of diplomatic relations between Ukraine and the KB as well as perspective directions of cooperation, in particular, in the fields of tourism and education. Special attention was paid to cooperation within the framework of the United Nations and other international organizations.

Igor Polikha also met with Ch.Pem, Director of the Tourism Council of Bhutan, and K.Yeshey, Secretary of the Ministry of Education of Bhutan and discussed the possibilities of cooperation in the specific directions.
