On February 15, Ambassador of Ukraine to India Dr. Oleksandr Polishchuk held a meeting with Chief Associate Editor & Director of THE WEEK magazine Mr. Riyad Mathew.

Ambassador expressed gratitude to the Team of the magazine for their dedication and constant coverage of the Ukrainian topics in the cause of ongoing Russian full-scale aggression against Ukraine. 

Dr. Polishchuk emphasized the courage of THE WEEK photojournalist Bhanu Prakash Chandra, who visited Ukraine in 2023.  The outcome of this journey was a special issue of THE WEEK dedicated to the Independence Day of Ukraine - 50 pages of prominent photos and materials. 

Ambassador also outlined the importance of the contribution of Dr. Mridula Ghosh, professor of International Relations, National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. Her monthly blog "Diary of Resilience" became a valuable and relevant source of objective information on developments in Ukraine.

During the meeting the prospects of further cooperation were discussed.
