On February 13, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of India Dr. Oleksandr Polishchuk participated in the virtual round table discussion “India and Ukraine in an Emerging World Order” arranged by the Foreign Policy Council "Ukrainian Prism" which was attended by professional experts from Ukraine, India and other countries.
Dr. Polishchuk in his opening remarks outlined the plans and directions for deepening Ukrainian-Indian ties in different spheres, in particular participation of Indian businesses in post-war rebuilding and reconstruction of Ukraine as well as cultural cooperation.
Ambassador also emphasized the need of building people-to-people contacts and strengthening relations between the academic, scientific and expert communities of Ukraine and India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka.
He informed the respected audience that the Embassy is actively working for further involvement of India, and other countries of accreditation to the implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula.
Taking this opportunity, Ambassador expressed gratitude to the Indian Side for provided humanitarian assistance and proposed by the Indian Government High Impact Community Development Projects (HICDP) humanitarian mechanism which will help Ukrainian communities to rebuild critical infrastructure - schools, hospitals etc.
