In fulfillment of the agreements reached during the visit of the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba to India (March 28-28, 2024), and in the process of preparation for the 7th meeting of the Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Indian Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical, Industrial and Cultural Cooperation, on August 14, 2024, the third meeting of the Ukrainian-Indian Joint Working Group on Pharmaceuticals was conducted.
From the Ukrainian Side, representatives of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control, and the Embassy of Ukraine in India took part in the meeting.
The Indian Side was represented by the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization of India (CDSCO) and the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilisers, Government of India.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the issue of bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and India in the spheres of medicine trade, education of Indian students in Ukraine.
The possibility of signing a Memorandum of Understanding between the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization of India (CDSCO) and the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control regarding cooperation in the field of medicines circulation regulation was discussed.
The Ukrainian Side invited the Indian Side to create joint ventures on the territory of Ukraine.
The Indian Side invited Ukrainian colleagues to visit India in October 2024.
