On August 9, 2024, the first meeting (in online format) of the Ukrainian-Indian Joint Working Group on Cooperation in the Field of Education was held.

The Ukrainian Side was represented by the officials from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the Ukrainian State Center for International Education and the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of India.

The Indian Side was represented by the officials from the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, and the University Grants Commission.

The parties exchanged the information on the priorities of the governments of both countries in the field of education.

The issues of expanding the legal framework in the field of education, joint research programs, academic exchanges, possibilities of twinning partnerships between Ukrainian and Indian universities, etc. were discussed.
