The Ambassador of Ukraine expressed his sincere gratitude to the Government of India and the Indian people for the political support and humanitarian aid provided to Ukraine.

The parties discussed the current state of the Ukrainian-Indian relations, including the practical implementation of the agreements reached during the political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Ministry of External Affairs of India, which took place in July 2023 in Kyiv.

The parties also exchanged views on the possible ways to achieve peace in the context of ongoing aggression against Ukraine.

Certain aspects of the development of cooperation in the educational, cultural and humanitarian spheres were also discussed during the meeting. In particular, the projects to ensure a high-quality educational process (distance learning) for Ukrainian children in the conditions of ongoing Russian aggression, as well as the possibility of erecting in New Delhi (on the principle of reciprocity) a monument to the famous Ukrainian philosopher Hryhoriy Skovoroda on the occasion of the 300-year anniversary of his birth.

The Ambassador, taking the opportunity, congratulated the Minister on the beginning of the Hindu festival of Navratri.
