On 21 June 2016 the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of India Mr. Igor Polikha met with the Vice President of India - Chairman of the Rajya Sabha (Upper House of Parliament) Mr. Mohammad Hamid Ansari.

During the meeting they discussed priority measures needed to restore a regular Ukrainian-Indian political dialogue at the highest level. Special attention was paid to the importance of substantial intensification of the bilateral inter-parliamentary contacts, including the activity of friendship groups at the highest legislative bodies of both countries.
